All lead partner schools are outstanding teaching school alliances and trusts in their own right and have a proven commitment and track record of developing effective leadership. The NPQ programmes are central to our approach to school improvement, allowing us to develop leadership capacity, identify talent and build effective networks.
Designated in 2012, Affinity Teaching School Alliance (ATSA), headed up by Kibworth Primary School, works across Leicestershire, Leicester City, Northamptonshire and Rutland and has 62 primary school partners. We lead several successful initiatives including our designation as a SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) in February 2014 and our work developing system leaders. We currently work with 16 NLE/LLE headteachers and 40 SLEs.

Ash Lea School
Ash Lea School is a Special School in south Nottinghamshire which caters for the educational needs of children and young people (age range 3 to 19) that experience complex learning difficulties and brings a wealth of leadership expertise. Ash Lea is a member of Candleby Lane Teaching School Alliance and Nottinghamshire Special School Soft Federation, so has played a significant role in collaborative school improvement.

Brooke Weston TSA
As one of the first 100 schools to be awarded National Teaching School status, we are proud of the longstanding commitment of our Alliance to improving the standards of education in our locality, region and nationally and our expertise in doing so. Our alliances comprises of primary and secondary schools and academies from Fenlands and Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire, working together to deliver a wide range of training and support for teachers and leaders in schools.
The vision of the Teaching School is to create genuine collaboration between partners; drawing on the vast expertise across the Alliance and utilising this to promote effective, coherent school to school support which meets the needs of the area and is instrumental in developing a self-improving school system. Cotgrave Candleby Lane TSA
Cotgrave Candleby Lane School is a large primary school in south Nottinghamshire developed through the amalgamation of three schools in 2007. The school is a National Support School and cohort one Teaching School. It has developed a comprehensive CPD programme and has delivered a range of leadership programmes, both locally and nationally. There are currently 54 primary schools within the alliance across Nottinghamshire. Cotgrave Candleby Lane is the flagship school for the Flying High Trust.

National Education Training & Support
NETS is a school driven CPD service which offers high quality courses through experienced and recognised course leaders, bespoke support to schools, accredited programmes with evidenced impact, whilst always being aware of affordability. We can also offer a bespoke support tailored to the needs of individual schools. The Redhill Academy is a large, mixed secondary school in the residential district of Arnold, north Nottingham It caters for students across the 11-18 age and ability ranges, and currently has 1340 students on roll, including a Post 16 of 200. We became an academy in December 2010. We have been designated by the DfE as a National Support School and our Principal, Andrew Burns, is a National Leader of Education. In April 2012 we became a National Teaching School and currently lead an alliance of over twenty other schools.

Transform TSA has been a teaching school since May 2012 and in that time has grown to include 53 schools with a diverse membership of primary and special schools in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, Derby and Derbyshire. The TSA now offers over 40 development programmes, as well as bespoke school support. Transform has sought to create a unique partnership whose values are grounded in trust, investing in staff, giving all partners an equal voice in defining our aims and programmes, and ultimately improving outcomes for children.
